Steve Wood
Detroit saxophonist Steve Wood has been performing for more than thirty years and is considered one of the top reedmen in the midwest.
After a period of training in the student ensembles of Marcus Belgrave and Marvin 'Doc' Holladay, Steve went on to perform in many of the region's top big bands, including the Johnny Trudell Band, the Paul Keller Band, the Toledo Jazz Orchestra, and the Woody Herman Band.
Steve has toured Europe twice, and has been featured on two records as a leader; "Unanswerable Questions" on Alembic Records and "Deep Woods"on Corridor Records.
